Code Enforcement
The Citizen Portal is Now Available!
Jefferson County has launched the Citizen Portal, providing our customers with the ability to apply for Building Permits, Inspections, and Contractor Licenses from anywhere they have internet access. The Citizen Portal will enable residents, contractors, and businesses to submit, track, and manage permit applications more efficiently and effectively. We are confident that this new system will enhance the permitting experience.
Customers will need to register online before being able to use the Citizen Portal. Once registered, you can then apply for permits and licenses, schedule inspections and check the status of your applications.
Schedule Inspections If you have a permit number that does not start with 25- then you must add +0 after the number sequence. For example, permit 12345 can be found by searching for permit number "12345+0" This will allow you to retrieve the permit information to schedule inspections.
Please be patient with County staff as we adjust to the new software. We look forward to improving your application experience.
