The Jefferson County Public Works Department will have a partial closure with temporary traffic signals on Old Lemay Ferry Road from Vogel Road to Spring Forest. The contractor, Jokerst Contracting, the low bidder plans to start installing storm sewers, widening Old Lemay Ferry to 6' paved shoulders, installing curb/gutters, a left turn lane at Adobe Drive, along with a new asphalt overlay. Construction on Old Lemay Ferry will be completed in phases, utilizing temporary traffic signals for one-lane traffic control. The Jefferson County Public Works Department will also have a one-lane partial closure with flaggers on Old Lemay Ferry Road from Kneff Road to Regency Woods. The contractor, Above and Below Contracting, plans to resume work during the first week of February. They will continue ditch line work between Kneff Road and south of Frisco Hill Road. Work on the MSE Wall, south of Frisco Hill Road, will begin as soon as the blocks are constructed and delivered to the site. The contractor will also continue widening Old Lemay Ferry, installing curb and gutter, along with a new asphalt overlay. All work will be completed utilizing flaggers for one-lane traffic control. There are six changeable message boards in place for this project. Two are located on Old Lemay Ferry Road, one south of Seckman Road and the other is north of Old Hwy M. Two more are located at the intersection of Old Lemay Ferry Road at Kneff Road and East Dry Fork Road, and the last two are at the intersection of Old Lemay Ferry Road at Frisco Hill Road and East Four Ridge Road.
