Calling all local jurisdictions in St. Louis City, St. Louis County, and Franklin, St. Charles, and Jefferson Counties! According to new FEMA requirements, any jurisdiction that wants to be eligible for hazard mitigation grant funding must pass the required resolution AND fill out a new questionnaire. This is an important part of the process for the St. Louis Regional Hazard Mitigation Plan, which addresses strategies to prepare for natural disasters such as floods and tornadoes. If you are a county, city, school district, or special district in one of these counties, make sure your jurisdiction is eligible for critical hazard mitigation funding by filling out this questionnaire as soon as possible! The deadline is September 12.
