Road construction will be starting the week of August 11th, for the Gravois Northwest School Road - adjacent to the Northwest
Valley Middle & Elementary School Campus. Construction will start on the North/West (opposite of school side).
The plan for this section of Gravois Road is to decrease the lane widths from 12' to 11', add a Two Way Left Turn Lane
(TWLTL), adding 8' shared use path on the east side of Gravois Road with streetscape lighting and a red-stamped concrete buffer.
The shared use path will provide direct connectivity from the two school campuses, the adjacent bus garage, the neighboring
subdivisions and church. Pedestrian Push Button Actuators at the crosswalks, storm sewers, street lighting, and new pavement are
