Any person wanting to install a utility pipe or wire across or under a County road must have a Utility Permit per the Jefferson County Code Utility Facilities - Regulations for Location or Relocation on County Highways - Permit, Section 700.010. The cost of the permit is $50.00. A $5,000 performance bond is required.
