Master Plan

The Jefferson County Master Plan (PDF) titled the "Visualize Jefferson County Master Plan" (PDF) was developed and adopted on November 10, 2025 with the general purpose of guiding and accomplishing coordinated development of the county, which will, in accordance with existing and future needs, best promote the general welfare, as well as efficiency and economy in the process of development.  As such, the Jefferson County Master Plan's policies, strategies, and recommendations are intended to be used as guides to decisions regarding land use, transportation and streets, economic development, and public facilities.
